At Uttaranchal University, a two-day international seminar was held on September 9 and 10. This time, Uttaranchal University and Daundi Biological Pvt Ltd (DBPL), Selaqui, Dehradun, worked together. In the presence of Chancellor Jitender Joshi and Dean of the School of Applied & Life Sciences, Ajay Singh, Vice-Chancellor Dharam Buddhi and Director of Industry, Anil Singh, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Enhancing skills for employment is the goal of the MOU.
During the event, eminent scientists and professors from both Indian and international organizations gave talks. In his speech, Chief Guest N Gopalan of the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur, School of Life Sciences, concentrated on the use of biotechnology to public health. Micro methods for virus detection and protection were described by Kodumudi “Venkat” Venkateswaran, Chief Scientist (Tetra Core), USA, and Kumar V. Udhayakumar, Programme Director, Integrated Serosurveillance & Center for Disease Control (USA). The need for procedures in current education for industrial jobs was emphasized by Anil Singh, Managing Director of RJMS Pharma, Mumbai, and Director of Daundi Biological Pvt Ltd (DBPL), Selaqui. Every expert engaged with the children and shared knowledge about potential futures.
Dean of Research Ajay Singh oversaw the entire seminar. Surbhi Bhardwaj, Sonika Kalia, VK Srivastava, and others were present at the function. Over a hundred academics and students took part in the seminar.
