Graphic Era Hill University’s School of Law Hosts Successful 3rd National Moot Court Competition with Participation from 25 Universities

In a remarkable showcase of legal prowess and advocacy skills, the School of Law at Graphic Era Hill University recently organized the 3rd National Moot Court Competition. The event, spanning multiple days, witnessed active participation from 25 prestigious universities, highlighting the enthusiasm and talent within the legal community.

The inaugural day commenced with a grand felicitation ceremony, where Mr. Ankit Purohit, the Head of the Department, and Mrs. Nishtha Kohli Wason, Faculty & Convenor of the Moot Court Club, extended warm welcomes to distinguished guests. Notable figures present included esteemed judges such as Adv. Vikas Guglani, Vice President of the Uttarakhand High Court Bar Association, Adv. Aditya Giri, Advocate on record at the Supreme Court of India, and Adv. Anand Kumar, practicing at the Supreme Court of India.

Other eminent personalities contributing to the event as judges included Adv. Ankit Lamba, Advocate at District and Sessions Court Dehradun and Uttarakhand High Court, Adv. Shubham Joshi, Legal Consultant and educator, Alumni of WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany, Karan Lamba, Advocate at District & Sessions Court Dehradun and Uttarakhand High Court, Adv. Keshav Kumar, Data Protection Officer & Data Privacy Counsel at VWO, and Adv Kushal Aditya Gulkari, Advocate at the High Court of Uttarakhand and District Court, Dehradun, among others.

The competition not only provided a platform for aspiring legal minds to showcase their skills but also fostered a rich learning environment with the presence of experienced and accomplished legal professionals.
