On the momentous occasion of International Women’s Day 2024, DIT University orchestrated a comprehensive full-day program on its campus, emphasizing the well-being and empowerment of its female faculty and staff members.
The day commenced with the inauguration of a free health checkup camp at the DIT University Infirmary, spearheaded by Dr. Kanika, MS,MS. The event provided more than 200 female members with invaluable health diagnostic tests, ensuring their holistic well-being.
The focal point of the day unfolded in the Vedanta Auditorium, featuring a compelling keynote address by Dr. Kanika on the vital topic of “Cervical Cancer and its Prevention.” The informative session aimed at raising awareness and promoting proactive measures for women’s health.
Expressing gratitude, the Human Resources department acknowledged the pivotal role of supporting staff members, while the Chief Proctor commended the tireless efforts of female staff contributing to cleanliness and hygiene across the university campus.
