The registered organization Usha-Society for Human Affairs founded the Teacher Education Department of Nalanda College of Education (NCE) at Miyanwala Tiraha, Haridwar Road, Dehradun, with the goal of providing high-quality education to rural residents in actual need. The state/statutory governing bodies are the NCTE (recognizing body), the State Government, and H.N.B. Garhwal Central University, Srinagar (affiliating body). The university oversees the academic portion, which includes curriculum, exams, appointments, and admissions (according to state regulations). The NCTE sets standards and infrastructure. Nalanda College has more infrastructure than what is required by the NCTE and is completely furnished. The quality of work at Nalanda College of Education has been improving, and the college has worked extremely hard to achieve its motto, “Innovation, Shine,” and hopes to continue doing so.
