Vasudev College of Law

The first law school in the Uttarakhand district of Nainital is Vasudev College of Law. Our success stems from a long history of training attorneys through theory and practice, creating leaders equipped to address the most significant moral and ethical issues facing society. Graduates of our law program are equipped to discuss legal theory as well as practice law because they have a thorough understanding of legal history and courtroom protocol. Many have already gained a great deal of experience in case research and advocacy through programs like the Attorney General Program, the Criminal Process, or other clinics and externships, as well as through participation in advocacy contests and classroom simulations. Vasudev College of Law was founded in 2017 and is associated with Kumaun University in Nainital. Its mission is to offer a genuine, professional, and high-quality educational environment.

Under the direction of the Harihar Social Welfare and Educational Society in Haldwani, Uttarakhand lies Vasudev College of Law. The cultivation of an individual’s personality and understanding of the meaning of life for both himself and others is the primary purpose of Vasudev College of Law.

UGC REGULATION ON CURBING THE MENACE OF RAGGING IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS was passed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2009. Any act of physical or mental abuse (including bullying and exclusion) directed towards a fellow student, whether a freshman or not, based on color, race, religion, caste, ethnicity, gender (including transgender), sexual orientation, appearance, nationality, regional origins, linguistic identity, place of birth, place of residence, or economic background is defined as ragging.
