RPVT was a state-level veterinary entrance examination conducted by RAJUVAS for eligible candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) programmes.
In the earlier RPVT pattern, the examination included Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The 2025 examination had 180 objective questions: 45 from Physics, 45 from Chemistry and 90 from Biology.
For 2026, admission is based on NEET UG scores instead of a separate RPVT examination. Therefore, students interested in veterinary courses through RAJUVAS should focus on the NEET UG syllabus, application process, admit card, result and counselling updates.
