NIMCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Strict academic requirements must be met before registering. Applications failing to meet these criteria are summarily rejected during document verification.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold a 3-year full-time B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), BCA, or BIT degree from a recognized university, with Mathematics or Statistics as a mandatory subject. Candidates with a B.E. or B.Tech degree are also eligible to apply. Degrees from recognized open universities (approved by UGC/AICTE/DEC) are accepted.

Minimum Marks Requirement: General, OBC, and EWS candidates require a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale. SC, ST, and PwD candidates require at least 55% aggregate marks or a 6.0 CGPA. Conversion from CGPA to percentage (or vice versa) is not permitted.

3. Computer Awareness (120 Marks)
Focuses on fundamental concepts including CPU organization, memory, basic operating systems, data representation (binary, hexadecimal, floating-point), Boolean algebra (K-Maps, minterm/maxterm), and computer networks.
4. General English (40 Marks)
