2. AIIMS Merit List (AML):

   • Scope: Exclusively applicable for seat allocation across various AIIMS campuses.

   • Inclusion: Formulated for candidates who qualify Stage-I and undergo Stage-II (Departmental Assessment) for AIIMS seats.

   • Details Provided: Candidate Roll Number, overall AML Rank, total combined score (Stage-I + Stage-II), and qualification status. 

Step-by-Step Guide to Check & Download INI SS Result

Candidates can view and download their INI SS results by following these steps:

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official AIIMS exam portal at aiimsexams.ac.in.

2. Access Academic Courses: Click on the Academic Courses tab on the homepage.

3. Select INI SS: Click on INI-SS (DM/M.Ch/MD-HA) under the Super Specialization section. 

4. Download Merit List PDF: Under the Important Announcements section, click on the Result of INI SS (CML & AML) link.

5. Search Your Roll Number: Open the PDF and use Ctrl + F to search for your Roll Number or Rank.

6. Download Scorecard: Log in to the Candidate Portal using your Candidate ID and Password to download your detailed individual scorecard.

When two or more candidates secure identical total marks in the INI SS exam, AIIMS applies the following tie-breaking rules to determine merit ranks:

1. Fewer Negative Marks: Candidates with fewer incorrect responses (higher accuracy rate) in the exam are placed higher in rank.

2. Age Preference: If a tie still persists, the older candidate in age is granted preference and awarded the higher rank.

What After the INI SS Result?

1. Stage-II Assessment (For AIIMS Seats): Candidates shortlisted for AIIMS seats must participate in the Departmental Assessment (Stage-II) conducted by respective AIIMS departments.

2. Online Seat Allocation / Counseling: Qualified candidates included in the CML/AML lists must register on the AIIMS online counseling portal, fill choices for specialty and institute preferences, and participate in Round 1, Round 2, and Open Round seat allocation.

3. Document Verification: Candidates receiving seat allotments must report to their assigned institutes with original certificates, medical registration, and qualification credentials within the specified timeframe
