The university’s reach extends far and wide with over 240 Study Centers located across the state. These centers operate under the guidance of eight Regional Centers in key locations such as Dehradun, Roorkee, Pauri, Uttarkashi, Dwarahat, Bageshwar, Haldwani, and Pithoragarh. Uttarakhand Open University is recognized by UGC and approved by AIU, DEC.

Uttarakhand Open University Admission Process
In order to apply to Uttarakhand Open University, candidates must adhere to the following guidelines:
Online Mode
- Applicants need to complete the application form which is available on the official website. Before completing the form, they must carefully read the instructions.
- After that, they must upload the required files and complete the fields for the program.
- The next action is to pay registration fee online using UPI, debit cards, credit cards, or net banking.
- After that, students must print the paperwork and hand it to the study center.
Offline Mode
- After paying the appropriate fee, candidates must pick up the prospectus and application form from the relevant Study Centers or University Headquarters.
- After that, they have to include a signed certificate and self-attested photocopies of the necessary paperwork.
